Tour of the Majestic Yangtze in CHINA and P&O Cruise back to UK.

Travel Advisors UK Limited along with Wendy Wu Tours and P&O Cruises have put together a fantastic once in a lifetime tour of the Majestic Yangtze in China followed by a stay in Hong Kong and return trip to the UK onboard P&O Cruises Oriana on her return leg of the World Cruise.

This tour departs the Uk on the 1st November 2010 and returns on the 17th December - 46 nights - prices start from £4919pp*.

This includes all flights,departure taxes,current fuel surcharges,transfers including to P&O Oriana in Hong Kong,All meals(During China Tour and Cruise). Only meals to pay for are whilst in Hong Kong),Hotel accomodation whilst in china is at either 4 star or 3 star superior Hotels,Daily tours in China, entrance fees, guides (China tour fully escorted), chinese visa fees. The only extra to pay for is an Indian Visa for the return trip.

Here is the Wendy Wu itinerary for the China element of this fantastic trip.

Days 1-2: UK-Shanghai

Fly overnight with Virgin to the cosmopolitan city of Shanghai, also known as the "Paris of the East" and transfer to the hotel before a welcome dinner of traditional Shanghai cuisine.
Day 3: Shanghai

Sightseeing today includes a stroll through the beautiful Yu Gardens and the Old Town as well as a visit to the Shanghai Museum. You will also walk along the famous Bund with its colonial architecture and explore the restored Xintiandi area with its unique 1920's style shikumen buildings. In the evening, enjoy a cruise on the panoramic Huangpu River.

Day 4: Shanghai - Yangtze River Cruise

Fly to Yichang and transfer by coach (approx 1 hour) to board our Yangtze River Cruise vessel for the next four nights.
Day 5-7: Yangtze River Cruise

Enjoy a tour of the Three Gorges Dam before cruising upstream through some of the most dramatic scenery in the world. Over the few days, you will take a side-trip to the striking Shennong Stream in a pea-pod boat or visit the lesser Three Gorges and enjoy various shore excursions along the way.
Day 8: Chongqing - Chengdu

Disembark from our cruise vessel this morning and transfer to Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province. The area is renowned for its lush landscapes and cuisine. Enjoy a delicious Sichuan meal in the evening.
Day 9: Chengdu - Xian

Visit the famous Panda reserve to see these adorable animals being reared in wooded surroundings reminiscent of their natural habitat. Later fly to the former ancient capital of Xian and enjoy a traditional Shui Jiao dumpling meal in the evening.
Day 10: Xian

Visit one of the most important archaelogical discoveries of the 20th century - the Terracotta Warriors, followed by a walk along the Ancient City Wall. In the evening enjoy a performance of Tang Dynasty dancing.
Day 11: Xian - Beijing

Visit the Little Wild Goose Pagoda and the renowned Shaanxi Museum which is home to thousands of priceless relics.We also stroll through the lively Muslim Quarter to visit the Great Mosque and explore the Islamic food markets before flying to Bejing. Your evening meal includes the local delicacy, peking Duck.
Day 12: Bejing

Enjoy a full day of sightseeing which includes a stroll through Tiananmen Square, past Chairman Mao's Mausoleum to the treasure-filled Forbidden City, which has the largest and best preserved collection of ancient buildings in China. You also the exquisite Summer Palalce.
Day 13: Beijing

Walk on the Great Wall to reflect on 2,000 years of history and then visit the unique Temple of Heaven. Enjoy a fascinating Chinese Acrobatic show in the evening.
Day 14: Beijing - Hong Kong

Fly from Beijing to Hong Kong with Cathay Pacific Airways. Stay in Hong Kong for 3 nights at the Park Hotel Kowloon on a Bed and Breakfast basis.The three days are free to spend at leisure.

Day 15: Hong Kong

Enjoy a half day island tour visiting Victoria Park, Stanley Market and Aberdeen Fishing Village.The afternoon is at leisure.

Day: 16 Hong Kong

A day at leisure in Hong Kong.
Day 17: Transfer to the port to board P&O's Oriana.
The ship is in port for the full day and evening.
