Something different - Cultural and Culinary


Explore's new eight day culinary and cultural tour of Malta and Gozo takes in some of the best-preserved ancient sites in the Mediterranean, along with opportunities to sample traditional Maltese cuisine.

Included is a city walking tour of Valetta , a UNESCO heritage site, a boat tour of the Grand Harbour and walks through the ancient cities of Senglea, Vittoriosa and Cospicua. A visit to a traditional Maltese bakery in the village of Qormi is also on the agenda along with a visit to the cellars of one of Malta's famous wine makers to learn about wine production and to sample different vintages and traditional Maltese produce.

Also offered is a visit to the Cremona Olive Estate to learn about the intricacies of olive oil production and relax for a picnic lunch.

Two full days are spent sightseeing and walking on Malta's unspoilt sister island, Gozo. The tour departs in March, May and September.
