The owners (the residents) of The World, the cruise ship, are in talks to offer 'guest' bed nights. The ship has 165 'homes' which are owned by 130 people. Passengers can create their own itineraries but must stay for a minimum of six nights.
It is ideal for luxury cruisers, but also people who have never cruised before because it offers an in depth travel experience by staying in some ports of call for up to five days. Prices compare with Silversea Silver Suites and competitive with top hotels.
